Be Undismayed -
Psalm 42: 6-8
"O my God, my soul is cast down within me;
therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan,
and from the heights of Hermon, from the Hill Mizar.
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
all Your waves and billows have gone over me.
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
and in the night His song shall be with me - "
"Commit thou all thy griefs and ways" ~ St. George
(the Original Trinity Hymnal #560)
"Commit thou all thy griefs and ways into His hands;
to His sure truth and tender care, Who earth and heav'n commands.
Who points the clouds their course, Whom winds and seas obey,
He shall direct thy wandering feet, He shall prepare thy way.
Give to the winds thy fears; Hope and be undismayed;
God hears thy sighs, and counts thy tears, God shall lift up thy head.
What though thou rulest not? Yet heav'n and earth and hell
Proclaim, God sitteth on the throne, and ruleth all things well!
Leave to His sovereign sway to choose and to command;
So shalt thou wond'ring own, His way how wise, how strong His hand!"
