So many things that you wrote resonate with me: grieving and wondering if anyone cares or wants to understand, being numb with pain, when beloved hymns cannot be sang because of tears, memories and the enormous lump within my throat, when I didn't think I was asking too much but He still took that away, and when my prayers seem to go into the bin for people with not enough faith and many more that I cannot even express with words! "OH LORD, I believe, help my unbelief" And, Help me trust YOU!!! My prayer just this morning was... Precious Lord, lead me safely on to the Eternal Kingdom not asking whether the road will be rough or smooth, but trusting YOU, LORD, for each and every step and trusting and leaning heavily upon Your loving and all wise Providence!!!
Love you & praying for you my dear friend. sspAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3117174892828870404.post-21102301961323894632013-04-14T14:28:27.928-04:002013-04-14T14:28:27.928-04:00Jean Marie...I have "followed" your blog...Jean Marie...I have "followed" your blog for a couple years now. Found it through Emily Brower's blog. I have never commented before...but reading this post, made me want to!
Never be ashamed of writing truly from your heart...please don't hold anything back. What you write is beautiful, and apparently true for all of us reading your blog.
In my life I have definitely felt pain and sorrow in many different ways. It's amazing the burdens God places on our hearts...I was reading my devotional yesterday from "My Utmost for His Highest" and what I read seemed so perfect for this weekend. There's all kinds of deep sorrow that just cannot be explained...just like what you wrote above and we cannot do anything about them on this earth, but how thankful I am that we will be Home with our loving Savior after we suffer on this earth. There is SO much to be thankful for and joyful about! But it's so hard with all the pain and the questions of "Why" we have to go through.
Thank you so much for writing this, and for the encouragement.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3117174892828870404.post-32092902051610854892013-04-13T15:06:19.138-04:002013-04-13T15:06:19.138-04:00Jean, thank you so much for this post. I was trul...Jean, thank you so much for this post. I was truly blessed. I love reading things that put my own thoughts and past experiences into words. And this post did that amazingly. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Libbynoreply@blogger.com
